The State of Michigan allows notaries to charge $10 per notarial act. State law also recognizes that notaries may charge travel fees to reach their clients.
Travel fees will be agreed upon when quoted.

$20 + notarial act fees
11- 25 miles
$30 + notarial act fees 
26 - 50 miles
$40 + notarial act fees
51 - 100 miles
$50 + 65¢ per mile over 50 miles + notarial act fees

Hospital Visits
A supplemental fee is applied to hospital visits due to the extended time and potential delays from medical care for the signatory. The base surcharge is $10, with an extra $5 surcharge for every 15-minute wait time before the session begins. This surcharge is not applicable to Nursing Home visits, where delays are infrequent.
